My family and I have worked with Kevin Magnuson since 2006 after Kevin saw me play in the USHL Fall Classic for Waterloo. Kevin has helped guide me through the USHL, NCAA and NHL and all the good and bad that comes with each League.

His experience as a former practicing attorney was really helpful in negotiating all six (6) of my NHL contracts. Kevin was especially prepared for the salary arbitration hearing we had in 2015 with Nashville that ended with me eventually earning an awesome, life changing 5-year deal.

We then went to free agency in the summer of 2020 where I signed a lucrative three-year contract with the Boston Bruins. Kevin was great communicating with me and my wife all the different NHL options we had to choose from.

I definitely made the right choice with Kevin and trust him like a brother. His wife Mary Clare and son Gunnar have become good friends too. It's been a great all around relationship!

I first met Kevin Magnuson when I was playing Midget hockey in Illinois...we instantly got along well and he fit in really well with my family which is important to me when choosing a family advisor and someone that would become my agent as he is just a very honest and trustworthy guy.

Kevin has always stood by me with any injuries I have endured throughout my career. He has assisted me finding doctors and following up on my rehabilitation.

I was fortunate to be a part of the Colorado Avalanche winning the Stanley Cup in 2022. Kevin helped my family with the planning of my "Day with the Cup". It was fun to share this momentous occasion with Kevin, Mary Clare and Gunnar.

My path to the NHL was a very unique one as I played my first NHL game for the Philadelphia Flyers at age 29 after playing many years in the Swedish professional league.

I was introduced to Kevin Magnuson while playing professionally in Sweden and he helped me navigate my entry-level deal by assisting me with my decision between a few NHL organizations.

Kevin became a friend and part of my family as we worked closely together through many negotiations with numerous NHL teams. I am very proud of my NHL career.

I feel blessed to have played the most games in NHL history by a French-born player and was a proud member of the original Vegas Golden Knights team that made it to the Stanley Cup finals in it’s inaugural season.

Kevin is trustworthy, cares about his clients and their families, and has great relationships throughout the NHL. I highly recommend him as an advisor, friend and agent!

My family and I met with a few advisors and agencies when I was 15 years old, but we chose to work with Kevin Magnuson due to his experience as a former player and attorney.

Kevin was helpful to my career as a young player as we navigated the decision between playing College Hockey and Major Junior. We ultimately decided to play for the London Knights and it proved to be a great decision as I was a proud member and captain of a Memorial Cup championship team.

Kevin assisted me through the NHL Draft process and I ended up being a 2nd round draft pick by the Arizona Coyotes.

After a few years in the NHL, Kevin laid out a clear plan when negotiating my extension with the Coyotes and I ended up extremely happy with the 6 year deal that was finalized. It was a life-changing moment for me and my family!

Unfortunately, I have experienced a lot of injuries throughout my NHL career, but Kevin has always been there to support me choosing the right doctor and staying on top of my rehabilitation back to the NHL.

I first met Kevin Magnuson when I was 15 years old and he was just starting in the agency business. I decided to work with Kevin because he is honest, trustworthy and, as a lawyer, well-versed in contract law.

Kevin was with me through my NTDP tryouts and my decision to attend the University of Notre Dame. At the conclusion of my two years with the USA national program, and excelling at the u18 world championships, my draft stock rose quickly. Kevin helped me meet with NHL teams prior to the 2007 Draft and after those meetings, I was fortunate enough to be drafted in the first round, 18th overall by the St. Louis Blues.

After 3 great years at Notre Dame, which included playing in the National Championship game and earning first team All-American honors, I decided to turn pro. Like any young pro, during the first couple years of my career I was figuring out how to be an NHL mainstay. Kevin was a sounding board and provided guidance on how to accomplish that. I solidified my game as a consistent, puck-moving, physical, shot-blocking defenseman and this transition led to a 15+ year career (thus far), over 900 NHL games, 130 playoff games, and substantial roles in back-to-back Stanley Cup championships with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2016 and 2017.

Kevin has negotiated eight (8) NHL contracts on my behalf and I trust him with many aspects of my life. He is always there for me and I consider him a close friend and part of the family.
